LIVING WORD CHRISTIAN CENTER
Church Fasting and Prayer
January 1, 2023 – January 31, 2023

“Then Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself [determinedly, as his vital need] to seek the Lord; he proclaimed a fast in all Judah.”
2 Chronicles 20:3 AMPC

The body of believers at LWCC is invited to spend time in fasting and prayer for the purpose of seeking God, drawing closer to Him, and obtaining spiritual breakthroughs. In uniting together during this time of corporate fasting, we are expecting to experience greater glory and to see a greater demonstration of God’s miraculous power and presence in our lives, in this ministry, in the Body of Christ, and in our nation.

We encourage you to join us in one (or more) of the following fasts, between January 1, 2023 and January 31, 2023.

During this time there are various ways you can fast to fit your lifestyle, schedule, and leading of the Holy Spirit:

• Three-Day Fast (Esther Fast) – Abstaining from food and juices, drinking water only.

• Seven-Day Fast – Abstaining from food and drinking liquids only (water and/or juice) during our fast.

• Twenty-One-Day Partial Fast (Daniel Fast) – Abstaining from certain foods or omitting certain meals during our fast. (Examples: eating or juicing fruit and vegetables only; eating one meal a day; abstaining from sweets and desserts.)
• Abstain from pleasurable activities or amusements such as television, social media, etc.

During our fast, please pray daily for the following priorities and believe for breakthrough in these areas:

1. Manifestation of His Glory; Outpouring of His Spirit; Healings and Miracles
Prayer Declaration: Father, manifest Your glory in our midst and pour out Your Spirit in
greater measure in our lives, our families, our church services, and in this nation. May we
experience the manifestation of Your presence, heavenly encounters, signs, wonders, and notable miracles. (Joel 2:28)

2. Greater Works
Prayer Declaration: Father, we believe in You, so we declare that we are doing greater works this year and experiencing greater victories and greater success. (John 14:12)

3. Reap & Keep Souls; Church Growth
Prayer Declaration: LWCC is effectively training and making disciples of our new believers. They are being transformed by the renewing of their minds and walking in holiness, righteousness and authority. Multitudes are being drawn to our services and we are reaping the harvest of souls and not losing any that God has given us.
(Matthew 28:18; John 17:12)

4. Debt Free—Abundantly Blessed
Prayer Declaration: We are debt-free owing no man anything but love. We are redeemed from the curse of debt. We are the head and not the tail, the lender and not the borrower. We are tithers, and the floodgates of heaven are open over us and God is pouring out abundant provision. The devil is rebuked and all nations are calling us blessed.
(Romans 13:8; Deuteronomy 28:12; Malachi 3:10-12)

5. Every Household Walking in Divine Health
Prayer Declaration: Father, we thank You for our covenant of divine health. We are redeemed from sickness and disease, and the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus dwells in us. By the stripes of Jesus, we are healed! (Isaiah 53:4,5; Galatians 3:13; Psalm 91)

KEEP IN MIND THE FOLLOWING:
During the fast please drink plenty of water.
Make sure you concentrate on the Word of God and prayer.

When the fast has ended, begin eating slowly again with soups and vegetables.
